We make copies of these runs available for sale in DV quality for anyone who may be interested. We also build your own club page, with contact information, entry forms, draws and results, uploaded as soon as you supply them. We supply absolutely everything which we require, including our own meals & accommodation! How much? Just $2.20 per run (incl GST) A modest travel charge may apply in some cases. That's it! No hidden extras, no little add-on charges. You will know from day 1 exactly what it will cost your club to promote itself in this way. Contact us today about providing video services for your show, wherever you may be! Don't leave it until the last minute, and maybe miss out. Yes, we do cover absolutely all areas! At a National or Futurity level, we offer the same services as above, at exactly the same prices. We also offer the option of a full or partial webcast service, either in conjunction with the video services, or as a stand alone option. That situation has now changed, with the successful webcast by us of The Finals weekend of the 2008 NCHA Futurity The 2009 NCHA Gold Cup The 2009 NCHA National Finals The entire 2009 NCHA Futurity Webcasts can be sponsored, and include flying banner adverts, video inserts etc., with the sponsors being sourced by your organisation, or can simply be on a flat per day basis. Contact us for a no obligation free quote for all of your video and webcast requirements for your upcoming National or Futurity shows, or indeed, any show. We offer a healthy discount if we provide both video and webcast services at the same time. |
NOTHING BUT CUTTING HAS RECENTLY COMPLETED THE WEBCAST OF THE NCHA 2009 FUTURITY LIVE FROM AELEC. NOT JUST PARTS OF THE PROGRAMME, BUT EVERY RUN IN EVERY EVENT, FROM GO TO WHOA! This opportunity came about because of my prior involvement with the NCHA with my other site AUSSIE HORSE TV, and the webcasting of previous NCHA events. I'd like to sincerely thank the NCHA, not just for having faith in my ability to provide this webcast, but also for their previous and ongoing support for the whole webcast idea. Without their support initially, we may all still be sitting back waiting for someone else to do it. I'd also like to thank S & S Partners. owners of REYS DUAL BADGER, for their support also in sponsoring, via the NCHA, the whole webcast. The webcast included the Select Sale and all of the entertainment program as well, and attracted an incredible response from not only the Australian Cutting community, but those of the Americas and Europe as well. To say it was well received would be an understatement, and I personally am humbled by the support and encouragement offered by so many people. All Finals are uploaded, and can be viewed HERE |
I spent the weekend of May 16/17th in beautiful Dorrigo for the Silver Spurs Cutting. A small but dedicated team of volunteers have built a cutting pen which will be the envy of many, and ran a very large programme over the 2 days, with a minimum of hiccups. Congratulations to Fiona, Ron and the rest of the crew
If you are anywhere near the North Coast or Northern Tablelands of NSW, you should possibly be looking at this club, as their facilities now are terrific, and the plans for the future will make them even better! I had the pleasure of sharing the box for most of the weekend with one of Cuttings gentlemen, Mr. Don Tanner. What a wealth of experience he brings to the Judges chair, and a great sense of humour too. I discovered that Don and I will both be at the Goondiwindi Futurity also, so am really looking forward to that. Steve Felton took the judging mantle for a spell on both Saturday and Sunday, and I certainly look forward to spending more time with Steve down the track as well. I also shared the box with a photographer by the name of Barry McGregor. Barry and his good lady Tracey showed true professionalism throughout the weekend, and have the ability to produce some great shots. Photos from Dorrigo are available on their site HERE Runs from this show are now available for viewing on the PLAYER page. |
On Saturday May 2nd., I performed the video work for the Northern Rivers Cutting Horse Club, at their Bonalbo show. With about 90 runs plus pre-works and beginner horse, it was a busy enough day, but the hard working committee and members of NRCHC made it look almost too easy! Good consistent cattle and good consistent judging from Wes Hall saw very few whistles and no-scores for the day, and a generally good to high standard of cutting. The Bonalbo showgrounds is a beautiful spot, and the atmosphere was further enhanced by the running of the local Ag Show on the same day. This is the first NRCHC show which I have attended, but certainly wont be the last. I was treated with courtesy by all, and made welcome, and was pleased to be able to recognise cutters from the previous weekend. I must comment again on the Pro Trainers. Those that were at this show certainly made every effort to assist in any way they could. Runs from this show are now available for viewing on the PLAYER page |
Over the Anzac Day weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Wild Horse Cutting Club Inc. show, held near Injune, in the beautiful Central Highlands of Queensland. To say I was made to feel welcome would be an understatement, and I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone, not only from the committee of Wild Horse, but also competitors and spectators alike, who took the time to ask about where I was going with this site. While each and every competitor should be commended for making it to Wild Horse, it would be remiss of me not to single out one group in particular, the Pro Trainers. These guys and girls made themselves available pretty much full time for the duration of the show. They were there turning back at 6.00 a.m. on Saturday morning (after not a whole lot of sleep), and they were still there at stumps that evening, turning back, offering advice and encouragement. They then turned around and repeated the effort on Sunday! Well done to them all, and if they are part of the future of Cutting, then Cutting has a good future. The Wild Horse committee and club members did an absolutely fantastic job, and handled the influx and increase in entries very well, to run a show which was as smooth as clockwork. A discussion re Privacy. When you go to a cutting show as a competitor, you go in a draw, which is posted, and includes your horses name, (sometimes) the owners name, and the riders name. This is publicly listed, and you don't have the option of not showing your details. When your run comes up, you are out there doing your level best to get it right for the judge/s, and to earn a score which gets you in to the placings. Unfortunately, for privacies sake, you dont do this behind a big black screen, and so anyone at the show, including people which you dont know, can watch your run. Now, if I'm at that show performing the video work for the judge/s, and I then place all runs on the page of the hosting club, without advising you or giving the option to opt out, that would be a gross invasion of privacy However, I only place scoring runs from affiliate classes on these pages, each competitor has the absolute right to say they do not wish to appear on the pages, both before, and after, I have uploaded the files. The files are shown in a player, which lists your horses and riders name, and yes, it can be viewed by people which you dont know. Please see the 3rd paragraph above! I have never, and will never, shown or show anyones run against their wishes. Every rider/owner has the option to opt out at any time that they choose. If anyone believes at any time that I have breached their privacy, I'm always available for discussion In the meantime, enjoy the instant replay capacity of our PLAYER, no waiting for downloads on here!

Nothing But Cutting. The name says it all! That's what this site is all about! Now, I don't intend for it to be a site where the club secretary sends me an email with the upcoming events, and I stick the details on a page and point people at them (though of course I will do that as well). That's been done to death, it's time to get fair dinkum, to start promoting the hell out of the sport of Cutting, to start promoting each and every local grass roots club as if it was the NCHA itself! In my personal point of view, if the Cutting industry as a whole does not start promoting the sport, does not start showing people the thrill of Cutting, does not do everything possible to get the sport of Cutting in people's faces, then the bleeding of competitors across to the sport of Campdrafting will likely continue. Don't leave it all up to the NCHA, and then whinge when they don't do enough (in your point of view). Our philosophy is simple. Give every grass roots club, every pro trainer, indeed everyone within the cutting industry an opportunity to promote themselves and the industry, without bias, without favouritism, and in most instances, without any cost to them. We call it service. We call it helping the Cutting Industry to promote itself effectively. Others can call it what they will!

This site will have an overall central theme of Cutting, nothing else, only Cutting. Underlying this central theme will be grass roots clubs. Every affiliated Cutting Horse club will be invited to participate, and each participating club will have it's own dedicated page . This page is in no way intended to replace any existing web site which you may have, and will list all of your upcoming events, including programs and draws, and the results of your last event, when supplied to us. Every club which runs an affiliated event is required to record each and every run in case the judge/s need to review it. What happens to all of this recorded material? In most cases you (the club or competitor) pay a fee per run for this recording to happen. When the event is over, get a copy of everything from your video operator, and send it to me. In no time flat, every run will be able to be seen on this site. You've already paid for the footage to be taken, all it will cost from there is the postage (& return postage) of the video, DVD, whatever, to me. I copy the runs, put them on the site, then send it back to you, all at no cost to your club except the postage! Don't wait for me to contact you! Make it happen now! Contact me at neil@nothingbutcutting.com or fill in the form HERE What advantage does placing videos on the site offer? It promotes not only the particular horse and rider, but the breeder, trainer, and your club also. If you have had a trainer go round, then others are able to see how they do it as well. Video of runs at your events are truly a win-win situation for all concerned. In one of my other business', (Aussie Horse TV) I have been, and hopefully will continue to be, webcasting all of the NCHA's major shows out of Tamworth. I've got an incredible number of runs already, but that's only the tip of the iceberg. Kudo's to those who make the effort to show at these major events, but really, without the grass roots clubs, and their events, there would be no NCHA or major shows run by them.
Take a look at our Calendar too! It not only contains information about affiliated events, it even has reminders about closing dates for entries of specific events! I'm also offering For Sale pages, and Stallion Promotion pages, but only for Working Cutting Horses, or Cutting Bred youngstock.
